Kane breaks England record for most goals scored in German league

Team Webmaster : Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane broke the record as an English player with the most goals in the German league.

Kane’s record with the Bavarians is 41 goals in 36 games, surpassing the previous record held by former Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho, who scored 40 goals in 188 games.

“Kane passed Jude Bellingham, surpassed Kevin Keegan, ran off Tony Woodcock’s goalscoring record and has now surpassed Jadon Sancho,” the Bundesliga side wrote on Sunday.

The England captain added to his goal coffers in Bayern Munich’s victory over Wolfsburg, 5-0 in the fourth week of the German league which took place at Weserstadion, Bremen, Saturday night WIB.

The addition of a goal from Wolfsburg also brings Harry Kane now occupies the top of the list of German League top scorers with a total of five goals in four games.

This season the former Tottenham Hotspur player has had a good season as a goal-hungry striker after scoring four goals in the Champions League opener against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday (18/9).
